1049 ABY, 11th day of 11th month
Coruscant, the seat of power of any governing body that happens to rule the galaxy. Whoever holds Coruscant is sure to rule the galaxy in itself, save for its dark ages when the planet was merely a shell of its past self after the fall of the Galactic Empire. Coruscanti used to be the most entitled people of all those that dwelled in the galaxy, however after their hardships between 4 ABY to 37 ABY the people learned that if there is no one to take care of their money or their lives, they were just as insignificant as the rest. However that changed with the Galactic Alliance, the reborn republic that was born from the Resistance that defeated the First Order and the Sith Eternal and put an end to the long line of Darth Bane’s Sith. They were pulled back from the mud, and with years, Coruscant regained its former glory with reforms and reconstruction. However, the life on Coruscant merely returned to what it was. Those that enjoyed living in the upper levels of the massive ecumenopolis lived the high life and enjoyed the luxuries of the world. Those who dwelled in the lower levels, at the base of the many high towers that decorated the world, lived an entirely different life. But those over two thousand levels all had one thing in common; distrust in the Jedi and the government, in one way or another.
The Coruscanti cared little about the goings of the galaxy aside from their own hold on to their lives and their credits. As such, the absence of the Galactic Alliance and especially the Jedi was barely noticeable to Coruscanti. Or even more so, their lack of absence was a relief. Those who enjoyed their lives in higher or middle levels didn’t either care or those who truly held resources, had long dreamed that the Jedi and the Galactic Alliance would fall so that they could dictate their own livelihood as they saw fit. Those who lived on the lower levels were however tormented by the constant wars between the various gangs and criminal syndicates that served the purposes of those living above. It was a chaotic symbiosis.

The planet itself was more dead than ever, with half the power grids currently out of operation. This has resulted in half the planet turning into dead zones, with many formerly populated areas being now dim and silent. The people who lived there weren’t obviously relocated, and many died in the process of moving away from their areas—billions of dead still haunt those areas. Some homeless still inhabit those areas, in hopes of escaping them one day. Most of the richest echelon of the planet now lived in the areas surrounding the former Senate District, while the lone Great Jedi Temple remained dead and silent. No one dared to step in its vicinity however, with most believing that it was haunted by the vengeful spirits of executed Jedi.
