Admiral Raius, Leader of the White Hand

Vaiken Prime, 1049 ABY, Night, 12th day of 11th month, Beginning of the End

1707339488437.jpeg

Raius’ patience held up to its reputation—thick and hard to wear out. Jeh’Kant had played his role well, but he’d get caught in the coming minutes or even seconds regardless of whether Raius called him out on his disguise or not. It wasn’t his back that was against the wall. He was already pressed to the wall face forward, with all of his limbs cuffed and he’d be helpless and certainly need a miracle.

Raius, prior to the call, after having discussed with Izil, had already ordered some of his forces to confirm the identities of those who died. It wouldn’t take long for his forces to gather all the bodies in the corridor, piled or not. And it’d take them as long to discover Counselor Rotas’ head and the rest of the body, unclothed. And, it wasn’t like there was no surveillance in the building. All the facts were already confirmed. What remained was the play. Just as who-claimed-to-be-Rotas had finished laughing and commended on Raius’ humor, one of the blast doors opened with a Knight of the White Hand spearheading a squadron of troopers who entered the room swiftly, interrupting Jeh’Kant’s rang. The knight, marching swiftly, threw the sole head of Counselor Rotas to the floor as it rolled before the feet of the Jedi-in-disguise, slowly before it seemed to appear to face the Jedi. As soon as it stopped rolling, every trooper in the chamber quickly charged their blaster rifles and aimed them at who claimed to be Rotas while the Knights of the White Hand began to walk on him slowly, surrounding him from each direction.

”You already took the helmet off, young… Jedi? The surveillance data suggests that you’re not quite like a Jedi at all. How desperate your kind has become, indeed. And yourself. Farewell.”

The Admiral retained his poise until the very end before leaving the call on his own accord—already having set his adversary up for assured defeat. What would the Jedi do now? He was at a complete disadvantage, with his allies either kidnapped or away. The Force wasn’t his ally in the chamber he stood in. All he could do was hope that something would happen, and fast.

It seemed that all hope was lost. SB-33 was nowhere to be found, Huyang was non-functioning, Bereon was captured and Jeh’Kant was fully at the mercy of the White Hand. But the former Jedi would soon find the base rattling and rumbling, the sound of orbital bombardment was clear. It was the allied fleet of the Coalition that had arrived to the play, and not a minute too early at that. The soldiers within the base were in disarray, trying to assume positions as swiftly as they could. ”It’s the Coalition! Someone disabled our anti-aircraft sensors!” one of the officers among the troopers screamed, as the soldiers within the chamber in which Jeh’Kant was surrounded quickly dispersed and assumed their positions in the base. Alarms began to wail yet again, so loudly that anyone within twenty miles of the base could likely hear them. Suddenly, all of the communication arrays of the base were overridden—and so was the holo array. In Raius’ stead, a female figure had appeared. Beautiful, fierce, tall, and beyond all she was full of confidence. She stood firm with her arms crossed at the level of her chest, with a confident smirk shining across her face.

”Soldiers of the White Hand, your base is currently under attack by the forces of the Coalition. As former members of the Fourth Fleet of the Galactic Alliance, you’re allowed to surrender and join us. If you will not, you will be eliminated.”

She spoke with poise and supremacy, with her disappearing from the holo array nearly as quickly as she’d appeared whilst the bombing seemed to commence far more fiercely than before. The soldiers within the chamber all fled, all except for the Knights of the White Hand that all seemed to close in on Jeh’Kant slowly with their vibroblades raised. The chamber was still physically intact, therefore the Force would still not be an ally to the former Jedi. However, Jeh’Kant could swiftly take the fight elsewhere now that the chamber doors were all open. If he took the fight to the main corridor, he could well crumble the chamber itself upon the knights.

The fleet had already begun the descent upon Vaiken Prime, with ten Mark IX class Starhawk battle cruisers, twelve Mark II class Keldabe battleships and five MC140 Scythe -class main battle cruisers being deployed—the full might of the coalition. It consisted of some former elements of the Galactic Alliance, along with the full fleet of the Mandalorian Hegemony. The starfighter fleet was composed of hundreds of A-wings, X-wings and Kom’rk -class fighters—four hundred of them altogether, with all of them closing in on the base. The Coalition forces were sixty-thousand infantry coupled with the fleet, mostly consisting of Mandalorian commandos of which all were well worth ten White Hand troopers. They all flew in above the base, running bombardments in cycles as they disposed of the automated turrets and anti-aircraft weaponry in swift succession. Among those fighters flew a familiar sight—the Star of Tython, operated by the rejuvenated Huyang and SB-33!

”Sir Kai, me and SB-33 are ready to pick you up whenever you’re ready.”

Lamented Huyang as he contacted Jeh’Kant directly to his comms device from their starship, as he and SB-33 shot towards the defensive apparatus of the base.

”Bleep beep boop beep!” (Let’s go! Let’s heckin’ blast these guys to dust!)

SB-33 beeped happily as he helped Huyang in operating the ship.

The silver haired assassin also known to a small handful as the Prince who was promised, arriving with the Coalition and other allied forces tagging along as a mercenary for hire. On his person he carried a couple of weapons on his person that being Enira the Sword of Fallen Kings and a hidden hand cannon. He wore a shrouded robe with a fitted black jumpsuit underneath. Piloting a borrowed ship from allied forces finding a safe place to dock, infiltrating the facility without any trouble as all defenses were focused on the invasion. The enemy troopers were being wiped out rapidly and the defense was no match for the oncoming onslaught.

Within the bounds of the chaos caused by the Coalition invasion, hiding within shadows traversing the battlefield without being detected by enemy forces. The young master assigned to escort the man known as Jeh’Kant to safety, chances of success were slim as they were facing a formidable foe. It wouldn’t take much time for him to reach his destination uninterrupted, emerging from the shadows like a true assassin but what he would find is a pile of lifeless corpses surrounding a single individual. The view was rather shocking than impressive as members of the White Hand seemed to be dispatched by this individual in particular and by the looks of it there was no sign of a struggle, this battle had ended before it even began. The forces of the White Hand were being pushed back and the sound of warfare could be heard coming from outside, the sound of the destruction was getting closer and the enemy of the allied forces retreated the young master could sense the fear and frustration of the survivors trying to man the defenses while others hid while the rest of the allied forces continued to exterminate those not aligned with there cause.

Voros Viszla The Dead End

Upon our arrival on Vaiken Prime, the sounds of warfare and explosions shook our ship. Our mission was to rescue two individuals, one of whom was Jeh'Kant Kai, an important person. However, they had failed in their mission, resulting in a waste of resources. Despite having read up on their files and conducted some research on both individuals, I couldn't help but wonder how they had failed so badly.

Standing among my fellow brethren, I could sense the tension in the air. We knew the risks involved, and we were aware that many of us might not make it out alive. Nonetheless, we were Mandalorians, and we were prepared to face whatever came our way. With my right hand resting on my head, concealed by my Mandalorian helmet, I attempted to calm my nerves and concentrate on the task at hand.

Juno Erella, our mission leader, assumed control of communications with her confident tone and commanding presence. She was a stunning woman, but her beauty was eclipsed by her leadership abilities. I felt reassured knowing that we were in good hands.

As we landed, my fellow Mandalorians rushed off to engage in combat with the White Hands, our adversaries. The environment was saturated with the scent of smoke and gunfire, and the sounds of battle were deafening. Nevertheless, I knew that we had to stay focused on our primary objective. Using my optics, I quickly located the entrance to the building where our targets were being held. It was heavily guarded, and I could see that we were in for a tough fight.

Upon entering the building, I could see evidence of battle everywhere. Blast marks covered the walls, and the corpses of White Hand soldiers lay strewn about the floor. The tension in the air was palpable, and my heart was racing in my chest. I soon encountered Leon Kameloth, one of Jeh'Kant Kai's disciples. He was clad in a jumpsuit with a shredded robe covering his lower layer, and I couldn't help but feel a tinge of pity for him. Nonetheless, I knew that we were there for a reason, and I focused on our mission.

As I followed behind Leon, I felt danger lurking around every corner. The building was a labyrinth, and we had to be cautious with every step we took. I was ready for anything and everything, and I knew that my skills would be put to the test. All I could do was hope that we found Jeh'Kant Kai and the other individual quickly so that we could complete our mission and exit the building alive.

MASTER JEH'KANT KAI, THE CHOOSEN

Vaiken Prime, midnight, 1049 ABY, 12th day of 11th month, The End

A lot had transpired in a short amount of time. From the moment they had landed, it had been nothing but chaos. Huyang had short-circuited briefly upon landing and he had been non-functioning which had only left Bereon Vry, SB-33, and Jeh’Kant Kai to figure out the path for themselves. Fortunately enough, before Huyang had become non-functioning, he had provided a map for them. However, the mistake they made was assuming everything would go smoothly. That was not the case.

They were under the assumption that utilizing Bereon Vry’s assassin skill set would provide them a vital advantage where they would be able to sneak in and out. Meanwhile, Jeh’Kant Kai would distract the enemies in an odd yet efficient way. They were all partially successful. Bereon Vry did in fact infiltrate the base and get where he was needed and Jeh’Kant had successfully distracted most of the enemies, all but one that would capture Bereon. The knights walked in as they tossed the Supervisor’s head at Jeh’Kant’s feet before it slowly turned and rolled to directly face him. “Ew,” he said out loud. The Admiral would begin to talk again, but Jeh’Kant’s focus was not on him as he glanced around the room with his eyes hidden behind the mask. It was only when the Holonet Terminal disconnected did he notice as he glanced around the room genuinely confused, “I’m sorry but what did he say? I was not paying attention.”

The room began to feel a lot smaller as they began to close in on him. Jeh’Kant slowly reached inside his pocket but before he could remove anything the entire base began to violently rumble. The sound of what was going would echo through the chambers and hallways of the base. They all knew what the sound was, but who was it coming from? They’d all soon know, including Jeh’Kant Kai. The Holonet Terminal turned on again and it showed a woman who appeared who did not waste a single breath. She was straight to the point, direct, like a surgeon with a scalpel. All the soldiers were focussed on the Holonet and when it turned off, they immediately assumed positions. Meanwhile the Knights stayed behind as they began to close in on Jeh’Kant. “So you’re NOT surrendering?” He questioned them. Immediately he unhooked the smoke grenade as he dropped it down on the ground. The entire chamber became an entire smoke screen as Jeh’Kant swiftly made his way to the hallway before running out.

Jeh’Kant took off the mask yet retained a tight grip on it as he maneuvered through the chaos. It was then when the sound of Huyang came through on the comms. “Huyang?! Finally awake you bastard?! I’m on my way.” It was then when he noticed through the peripheral vision two familiar faces, forcing him to stop dead in his tracks. “Leon?! Voros?!” They may find it weird that Jeh’Kant was wearing villainous clothing and carrying a saber of a Dark Jedi, but he was known for doing weird things. “What are you two doing here?” He would walk toward them and embrace them both in a giant hug all while blaster fire was exchanged all around them. It was sort of like a scene from a movie, where they were in their own separate realms. “I GOT 3 THERE KILL EM ALL!” A random enemy trooper would yell as he let off several shots of blaster fire but it would be akin to a mirror and hit a Force field before redirecting the blaster fire back at the trooper shooting a hole through him. All while Jeh’Kant continued to hug the other two and feel up on their backs. "Mmmmmmm.." he tuned out loud.

General Juno Erella, Leader of the Coalition

1708806231828.png

1049 ABY, Dawn, 12th day of 11th month, Vaiken Prime, Beginning of the End

The battle raged on but the assault of the Coalition was certainly too much for the little defense that the base had to provide anymore. Bombardment of the fighters and the battlecruisers had rendered all of the anti-aircraft weaponry useless and broken and with the troopers being more or less leaderless, with both of the dark Jedi being out of the play and Raius wasn’t there to command his forces. Instead, he’d left them to their own devices—intentionally. They were nothing but a decoy for what was going on in Corellia, having fooled the Coalition and Huyang into thinking that they could achieve something there. Knights of the White Hand, although formidable, were no match to the sheer number of the Mandalorian commandos that began to land and enter the base. Essentially, the day on Vaiken Prime was won. And the Coalition didn’t have to leave empty-handed, having acquired the plans of the enemy and the blueprint to what was their greatest weapon—the Star Forge.

As the skirmish raged on, the Star of Tython landed a hundred meters away from the main gate of the base, with both Huyang and SB-33 rolling down the boarding ramp of the fabled Jedi ship.

”Beep beep bloop beep!” (Hell yeah, we’re beating their asses hard!)

The astromech beeped with happiness and amusement while Huyang, on his side, as if spun his ocular sensors around in slight shame.

”My friend, calm down. By the way, you did splendidly in acquiring the plans.”

The droids then proceeded to walk towards the direction of their master—sir Jeh’Kant Kai. In the meanwhile, a message from Juno Erella would be rung across all comm devices of the Coalition and their allies.

”Soldiers of the Coalition, arrest every surrendering soldier of the White Hand and confiscate all weapons worth anything. We’ll need them in the war to come.”

She uttered with command and power behind her voice. She stood at the bridge of her Starhawk, the Skywalker, stationed in the orbit of Vaiken Prime. It was one of the most powerful battlecruisers of the Galactic Alliance during those days. She was accompanied by two droids of her own.

As they closed in on their objective the trail of bodies led Leon and Varos which made meeting up with Jeh’Kant a task that's as simple as childsplay, however escaping alive and unscathed was easier said than done as more enemies arrived to try and prevent the inevitable. For a brief moment as the enemies attacked while the three had a moment, Leon’s face expressed a mild discomfort as he was unfamiliar with this type of behavior in the middle of a life or death situation. As the enemies fired away their attacks narrowly missed their target, bouncing off a mirror like substance created out of thin air by Jeh’Kant, each trooper taken out by their own weapon. Witnessing the chosens power at first hand he used the force near effortlessly without using any gestures to support his focus. What else was he capable of, the young master wondered. “We were here to save you but it we are now here to escort you… but clear that you may have had everything under control.” he stated as he freed himself from Jeh’kant’s dramatic hug. He assumed for him to have an exhausted mind to be acting so lively while dressed in enemy clothing, he worried that he may have suffered from a traumatic experience and had more than his fair share of adventure assuming it was time for him to get some rest.

“We need to get moving, there’s no time for celebration.”
ending the happy reunion as wasn’t too keen on people openly expressing their emotions to him just yet, the young master uptight and traditional focused solely on his objective nothing more nothing less, his spirit unbothered by death or exultation Leon could hear more troopers of the White Hand closing in on their location.

Unlike the jedi Leon was accustomed to exterminating targets with no remorse for leaving witnesses and survivors can plant the seed of hatred leaving room for a potential threat. Still he would continue his mission escorting Jeh’kant back to the ship exterminating any threat standing between them and their destination, and ignoring troopers that lost their will to fight after witnessing Enira’s thousands shards shred through their comrades leaving a bloody trail in its wake. No trooper stood a chance against the young lord, barely having time to lay eyes on the target to let off a shot those who did found their blaster reflecting back at them. Like an endless nightmare those who witnessed frozen in place as the young lord laid waste to all who raised a weapon in his directions, using the tengean assassin tactics he appeared as shadows that devoured the souls of its victims. The halls decked with blood of the White Hand troopers as they bodies were mauled, full of holes and slashes deep enough to cause eternal bleeding. Leon focused and anticipating the enemies tactics he was determined to complete his mission flawlessly with no allied casualties and to do so he knew he must show no remorse slaughtering the enemy without spilling an ounce of blood on himself. The young lord remained completely calm face showed no expression as he butchered his targets almost as if he were completely tranquil and void of all emotion.

Voros Viszla The Dead End

The noise of the ongoing war was still audible. Why does everything have to result in war? There will always be individuals craving power, wealth, and control over others. This is the harsh reality we live in. I hope one day, there will be peace throughout the galaxies. Sadly, that is a pipe dream. In this timeline, the greed of the most powerful will always lead to destruction.

Accompanying Leon, I heard a voice in the distance. As my optics shifted towards the sound, a figure appeared wearing clothes resembling a villain. However, what caught my eye was the dark saber in the figure's hand. Without hesitation, I reached for my six-shooter blaster, fully confident in my ability to take down any potential threats. Why didn't I shoot?

As soon as the thought crossed my mind, the figure in front of us uttered our names, Leon and mine. How could this person know our names? As we stood there, a figure suddenly halted in front of us. Upon closer inspection, we realized that it was Jeh'Kant. Why was he in Dark Jedi attire? At that moment, I chose to holster my weapon. I realized that sometimes, the questions we ask aren't necessary at present. The good thing is we found him.

Upon Jeh'Kant's arrival, he hugged Leon and me unexpectedly. My concern for this man increased. Did he experience any kind of torture that caused this? As I wasn't accustomed to such a display of affection, I confidently removed his arm from my back. While removing his arm from my body, the White Hand Troopers appeared. This is probably who he was running away from. Through swift action, I grasped my blaster, and in response, the troopers unleashed their shots.

Before I could return fire, their shots bounced off an invisible barrier and struck the troopers, blasting a hole in their chests. It's worth noting that Jeh'Kant had a force shield activated for the entire time. Sighing, god damn Jedis love to show off. Since we found him, escorting him to the ship is the main goal now. It seems that Leon and I are on the same page, as he stated a thought identical to mine.

Blasters were still coming towards them. It seemed like they weren't the only troopers in the area. Leon removed Jeh'Kant's arm, he swiftly dealt with the troopers who were firing from behind Jeh'Kant. Leaving behind disfigured bodies, blood splattering everywhere and the screams of troopers echoed. I started to hear more gunfire coming from the direction we had entered previously.

As I grasped my trusty six-shooter tightly, I slowly turned around and left the safety of the force shield that had been surrounding me. I could feel calmness filling my body as I prepared to face the troopers who were closing in on me. With my hand steady and my aim true, I raised my weapon and fired off a series of rapid shots. Each one found its mark with deadly accuracy, striking the troopers in their heads and bringing them down one by one.

As the last of my enemies fell to the ground, I breathed a sigh of relief relaxing my tense muscles. Shifting my optics to Leon and Jeh'Kant in the distance behind me. I made a swift hand gesture to signal that it was time for us to make our way back to the ship. Capturing troops who have lost the will to fight would be a good secondary objective, but the primary mission takes precedence.

1710362666419.jpeg

1049 ABY, Dawn, Vaiken Prime, 12th day of 11th month, the wars to come

”Bleep bleep bloop bleep! Bleep bloop!” (Master, hurry up! I’m receiving high priority messages, we gotta retreat to Juno’s ship!”)

SB-33 beeped with urgency and haste, something the droid rarely resorted to. He turned around on his wheels as he began to roll up the boarding ramp back inside the ship, while Huyang still stood in wait. The old architect droid scanned his surroundings and reviewed the damage that had occurred here prior to his reawakening; only pondering if the mission had gone differently if he hadn’t shut down during the landing.

Jeh'Kant stood there briefly in the most utmost shock. The feeling of pain and betrayal painted across his face as he looked at the back of their heads in absolute disgust. Voroz and Leon both had practically broken free from Jeh'Kant warm and loving embrace. It was enough to make any man, no matter how kind, become somewhat seduced to the temptations of the Dark Side. Of course, he didn't—but he could've! As both of them began walking towards safety, Jeh'Kant would continue remain frozen in shock as he yelled out at them "OH so what?! You guys don't love me anymore?" Complete and utter silence. They both had continued to walk forcing Jeh'Kant to catch up with them with a light jog. The pain now replaced with anger. "How dare they!" He thought to himself.

He wasn't done yet.
"You two have no idea what I just went through!" Jeh'Kant yelled out loud as they continued walking across the battlefield. "First, we had to pilot through a mine of bombs in the SKY! Huyang got fried!" He'd briefly trip over one of the troopers he had previously killed causing a fluctuation in his voice. "Then Bereon Vry thought it'd be a good idea to split up he'll sneak in and get ahold of their plans meanwhile I was suppose to be the distraction. These guys," he pointed at the dead troopers "All got fooled—" he chuckled loudly. "They were like 'FREEZE JEDI'" Jeh'Kant put his arms up impersonating the entire act. "And I was like 'JEDI?! Where?!' and I tricked them into thinking the Jedi was behind me and they all started shooting! It was too easy!" The man would do the finger guns as he explained the shooting part of the story. "Yeah so I snuck in. Ran into the Supervisor and dressed up as him to confuse the enemy. Didn't work too well. Supposedly they had cameras everything. Then you two showed up an-and y'all don't wanna hug?!" Jeh'Kant could've shed a tear. "And now Bereon Vry's been captured. How's the stealth Jedi get captured?! Isn't he an assassin?!" Jeh'Kant's rambling was interrupted by SB-33's yelling at them to hurry up. By the time Jeh'Kant finished rambling, they were already on board.

As Jeh'Kant boarded the ship, he'd glance over to see Huyang functioning well and Jeh'Kant's face voice drop. "He's alive, Huyang... he's alive.."

Voros Viszla The Dead End

As we escorted Jeh'Kant to the ship, he appeared to be in a state of emotional distress due to the situation involving the hugging. While listening to him talk about his trials on the planet, I couldn't help but wonder if this was the same Jedi who defeated all those troopers singlehandedly. Jeh'Kant, who is older than me and possesses overwhelming power, behaves childishly, which I did not expect. I commend him for keeping in touch with his inner child, but he should conduct himself accordingly as a person with such a high ranking. Instead, I look behind me and see Jeh'Kant using his fingers as guns and recreating the noises.

I should be grateful for my mask; otherwise, my disappointment would show. Making our way across the battlefield, we hurried to reach the ship at SB-33 as it yelled at us to hurry up. Boarding the ship, Jeh'Kant raised a valid question: how was Bereon Vry captured? "If he is a stealth Jedi, how did someone manage to gain the upper hand? I thought about it as I walked past SB-33.

"Jeh'Kant, could you provide more details regarding what happened to Bereon Vry? Also, do you happen to have any idea about his current whereabouts?"

Although I am not usually one to speak up, I recognize the importance of the information provided by Jeh'Kant for the success of our mission. Although Jeh'Kant may seem unconventional, his insights could be invaluable.

Boarding Juno’s ship after being rushed by Sb-33 recovering word to retreat to Juno, they easily completed the objective with little to no effort not even breaking a sweat, when given the mission details the young Tengean thought the mission to be of high risk if not impossible. After overcoming the odds of success Leon was surprised to see the enemy numbers dwindle so quickly. “Do you always talk this much?” the young prince genuinely asked master Jeh’Kant, he hasn’t met someone before with so much energy and life; it was as if he was unaffected by the conflict as if had some sort of diplomatic immunity. The nerve of that Jedi Leon thought to himself, however that same outgoing man would have been a great choice to have been taught by he assumed despite his uncanny sense of human. Was he always this way he wondered. For now the young prince crossed his arms resting aboard this ship alas they all made it on safely waiting to take off meanwhile Voros had some question of their own to ask the Jedi master.

Listening in on the conversation only as an observer he was curious as to what wisdom Jeh’Kant might offer or better yet be offended by the insensitive question. “A stealth Jedi?” Thinking out loud whispering under his breath, it was clear to him that the Jedi was no assassin yet some of their kind resorted to subterfuge and other underhanded tactics against the enemy. Waiting patiently for Jeh’Kant answer he was truly curious and genuinely concerned for the Jedi known as Bereon Vyr whose whereabouts were currently unknown.

If his stealth tactics had failed him it’s possible that he had already been executed or captured and most likely being tortured. With Bereon Vry's status being unconfirmed there was a possibility that he may have escaped and is currently working on a way to report to allied force.

1711100477776.png

1049 ABY, Dawn, Vaiken Prime, 12th day of 11th month, the wars to come

Juno stared at her now blank holoterminal with certain anger, rage that as if boiled over her. The atmosphere around her was tense, with her lieutenants having already left the conference chambers for the command bridge just moments prior. They’d left in panic and hurry, as just like Juno, they’d seen Admiral Raius’ broadcast. Their entire mission to Vaiken Prime was a ruse, a clear decoy while the things that mattered happened in the Corellian system. Her lieutenants were already pulling her troops back to the ships from the surface, while instructing the rest of the officers to set a new course and create a plan sufficient enough to foil the Corellian blockade. However, she knew that it probably wasn’t possible. ”Star Forge.. What the hell. I wasn’t ready for this.” She thought to herself in disbelief. She’d only heard tales of it, as many might’ve heard during their childhood. The stories of the Rakatan might have been a scary bed-time tale, but to witness their technology in reality was something she hadn’t prepared for.

”Don’t stare at me C-3PO.”

Juno said with a rather painful tone as she walked away from the holoterminal to leave the conference chambers, knowing that her officers needed her at the command bridge. C-3PO stood beside the holoterminal, looking as confused as ever. The now fabled droid was over one-thousand years old and his memory hadn’t been cleansed since over one thousand years either. There’d been modifications to the droid since his conception, such as his head casing and various joint-parts. Since Palpatine’s final defeat, the droid had been acting as an ambassador and even a senator of Naboo at one point—being the only droid to ever represent a system. He was accompanied by his most long-standing friend, R2-D2, a droid no less fabled. He’d taken part in every major conflict and event of the galaxy since the birth of Anakin Skywalker—which in itself speaks in volumes.

”Did I do something wrong?”

”Bleep bloop beep beep.” (Just you being you my old friend)

C-3PO refuted with confusion, as his old friend replied to him with rather sarcastic beeps.

1711100718359.jpeg

On the surface, Huyang and SB-33 finally reunited with Jeh’Kant at the boarding ramp of the famous Star of Tython. However, Huyang immediately noticed that there was indeed something that worried or bothered the young former Jedi. And his deductions, apparently, were correct. There was only one thing that Huyang could process or assume, based on the young man’s words—someone was alive, and more than likely, that someone was his former Jedi Master Cain Farr. Huyang had only heard whispers before which he had strongly rebuked, but there were few stories of a dark warrior wielding Cain Farr’s old lightsaber and exterminating entire cities in the search of artifacts, now presumably artifacts to control the Star Forge. He now presumed that the slaughter on Belsavis was similarly handiwork of this warrior. Why he knew that it was Cain’s was that his lightsaber was indeed one of a kind—the only lightsaber that was built in the manner and from the materials it contained. If Jeh’Kant received confirmation of this, the news was indeed troublesome.

”Master Kai, do you mean that Cain Farr is alive?”

Huyang uttered through his vocal processors with a worried, but similarly an intrigued tone.

Jeh'Kant merely nodded in response to the question that was posed. Despite being a robot, Huyang would be able to tell from his facial reactions that he was distraught by hearing this news. Without waiting for anyone to add anything on or before Huyang could even say anything, Jeh'Kant pivoted on his heel and retreated back into his chambers. "Board the ship, Huyang. I'll be out shortly." As Jeh'Kant walked toward his chambers, he began slowly taking off the extra set of clothes he had put on top of his own. The only thing on his mind was his Master. There was a whirl of emotions that subdued Jeh'Kant at this very time. There was happiness, anger, sadness. After all those years training, his emotions were spiraling. No matter how much training one has, there are times where you just can't control yourself. As he entered his room and locked the door behind him, Jeh'Kant went to the hidden safe as unlocked it using a biometric scanner as well as a retina scanner. The safe opened and with it a cloud of gas escaped. He put the Dark Jedi robes and lightsaber inside of the safe before closing it again.

"I shouldn't," he though out loud to himself. His fist tightened as he thought as he tried to keep his composure. He wouldn't be foolish enough to try to understand the decision his former Master made, but he will be foolish enough to bring him back to Balance. Jeh'Kant found himself in the middle of the room in thought but soon enough he closed his eyes as he inhaled deeply and held his breath for a second before exhaling again. He did it again but this time he stretched both his arms out in front of him as he began to levitate. He pulled his arms toward his diaphragm as his legs crossed over each other and he launched himself into a Meditative State.

His mind launched itself across the galaxy utilizing the Force. He could see people from other planets in shambles. He found animals fighting amongst themselves as they fought over food or water. However, he was in search of something more specific. Or rather, someone. "Master", his voice was but a mere faint whisper before he forced himself to concrete even harder, strengthening his grip. "Master," the voice reached out to Master Cain Farr, not Darth Verus. "It's Jeh'Kant. I won't try to understand why you did what you did, but I will promise to listen. This is not you. Whatever you have done can be undone. Times are different now. I'm much stronger than when I was a mere child. We can make an actually difference now! All you have to do this is come back home, Master. Please." Were these useless pleas of a child or were they something much more?

Voros Viszla The Dead End

As Jeh'Kant retreated into his chambers without a word of response to my question, frustration shot through me. Despite my efforts to engage him, it seemed as though he was consumed by his thoughts, leaving me standing there, forgotten. It wasn't the first time Jeh'Kant had withdrawn into himself from what I heard, but this time it seemed something heavier was on his mind. His silence spoke volumes, revealing the depth of his inner turmoil, yet leaving me on the outskirts of his emotional storm.

I couldn't shake off the feeling of being dismissed, but there was little time to dwell on it. With Jeh'Kant preoccupied, I took it upon myself to embark on my own mission. If he wouldn't provide answers, I'd seek them out elsewhere. Determination ignited within me as I resolved to uncover clues about Bereon Vry, our missing ally whose fate hung in the balance. Bereon's absence weighed heavily on my mind, driving me to action as I scoured Bereon Vry for any trace that might lead me to him.

A sense of purpose washed over me as I went to my to speak with Juno. Despite Jeh'Kant's silence, I refused to succumb to uncertainty or despair. Bereon needed us, and I wouldn't rest until I found a way to bring him back to safety. With resolve fueling my every step, I set out on my quest, determined to unravel the mystery surrounding Bereon Vry's disappearance and, if possible, to rescue him from whatever peril he faced.

"Juno, can we talk? It's about Bereon. We need to find him before it's too late."

I spoke confidently, with an air of self-assurance, as I addressed the individual before me. This was the second time I had chosen to initiate a conversation with someone, and I felt at ease doing so. After all, why should I be concerned with Bereon's well-being? He is not a part of my group, and I have no obligation to him. I let out a sigh, recognizing that my Kyuzo heritage had likely played a role in my decision. The Kyuzo are a species known for their strong sense of justice and honor, and because of this I just can't let it go. Plus, my contract for the rescue isn't over yet.
